-- The UConn Hartford Campus Information Technologies Center provides a myriad of computing and telecommunications services to the campus. Within these responsibilities are the encouragement of the innovative use of computers in instruction and research, the provision of advanced computer services and systems, the facilitation of computer usage, the education and advisement of users.
-- User services in the areas of education, documentation, user technical assistance, and academic software maintenance are provided by staff members. User computing needs are continuously being identified by the HTFDCC through direct communication with individual users, open user forums, and the Computer Center Advisory Committee. All Major support functions associated with a large university computing center are available through the UCC to enhance the environment of higher education in a modern society.
-- In addition, a constant effort is made by all UCC sections to project a positive image of the University and through our various vendors increase the recognition of the University.
